LEARN: how to show up happy, sad, slow and fast.
1m 26s
When I offer a movement option to clients, and they tell me "no" or that's not right for my body today, it makes me happy (not that their job is to make me happy) BUT what I know is that they are starting to get a feel for what feels okay for their body on different days.
when they are grieving, when they are sick (but okay to move) when they haven't slept well etc.
I say this think to my kiddo- I love you when you're happy.,s ad, mad, etc bc I want her to understand that she can show up with me in 100 different ways and my love for her will not change.
Not that exercise is a person, but knowing that you can show up in different ways, knowing that you can say "no" or explore different things with movement will take you to learn more about your own movement practice.
